  2. says:

Not much of a sleuth this Heaven Lee, and who in their right mind would change their name from Katherine O Malley to that ridiculous moniker A mildly amusing tale Certainly better than Revenge of the Barbeque Queens by the same author.Rated 5 10 at

Just couldn t identify with the main character or her predicament It was like being introduced to someone at a cocktail party, chatting for a bit, and realizing there must be others in the room with whom I havein common Nothing overtly annoying in the writing or storyline I simply didn t connect.

  4. says:

A good mystery but the writing is pretty choppy Takes place in New Orleans with a chef invited to cook at a charity dinner so recipes are included.

  5. says:

Held my interest to the end.

  6. says:

This is a cute murder mystery, complete with real recipes, written by a Kansas City author The amateur detective, Heaven Lee, is entertaining, and the New Orleans setting is intriguing.

  7. says:

I really like Lou Jane Temple mysteries, lots of twists, culinary information and a tricky plot
